From properties to a portfolio
A clearer shared premise for the choices that followed.

Morrow Hotels · Selected work
How a growing hospitality group built one portfolio story and a guest experience system with room for every place to feel distinctive.
The shift in view
A clearer shared premise for the choices that followed.
An experience principle teams could apply in real situations.
A practical system for sustaining the change after launch.
The work in practice
Teams used room concepts, service moments, and operating scenarios to test where consistency mattered—and where local character should lead.

Morrow’s growth had outpaced the story connecting its hotels. Each place had character, but guests and teams could not always see what made the collection belong together.
Research across guests, owners, and hotel teams revealed a shared idea: thoughtful local welcome, expressed differently in every place.
We created experience principles, portfolio roles, and a toolkit that helped teams make consistent decisions without prescribing identical outcomes.
The result feels entirely like us—just clearer, braver, and much easier to act on.
